Recognizing and reaching out when you need help can be a daunting process. You may be wondering, "How do I find the right person?" or "Will they understand what I am going through?"
I have over 20 years experience working with individuals, couples and families in the Goodyear, AZ, Surprise, AZ, and Buckeye, AZ areas who are struggling to find their way in our stressed out world. I have proven tools and skills to help people overcome life's obstacles in order to build a life that is more fulfilling, joyful, and heart-centered. My specialized areas of practice include individual therapy, marriage/couples counseling, anxiety and depression counseling. I am also experienced in working with individuals and couples within the LGBT community.
I see therapy as an interactive process where we work together to find solutions that are effective for you. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve the pain so that you can embrace your life now. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths, gain new skills, and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. I believe that healing is possible! My goal is to help you uncover your true, authentic self, discover your passion, and lead a life that is worth celebrating!
My approach to therapy is a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapies and Mindfulness practices to give clients the skills they need to manage their emotions and deal with life more effectively. I have extensive experience in dealing with trauma-based issues, providing therapy for individuals burdened with anxiety or depression, suffering with grief following the loss of a loved one and couples or individuals transitioning through divorce.
I am pleased to offer direct pay as well as insurance billing services, and my welcoming office is located in the Phoenix West Valley within close proximity to Goodyear, Litchfield Park, Surprise, and Buckeye, Arizona. Contact me to learn more about setting up an appointment. I work with individuals, couples, and families, and I see both adolescents and adults.
Making the decision to consider counseling can be a daunting one. However, I believe that no one can get through this life without help from time to time.
If your time is now, then I would be honored to guide you on your journey!
